The Primary Use of 1314TH in the Initial Treatment of Tuberculosis

Abstract
1. Clinical studies have already proved the remarkable effectiveness of the new drug, 1314 TH, in the treatment of the cases resistant to the major drugs, namely, PAS, INH and streptomycin.
In this study further clinical evidences in the chemotherapy of previously untreated tuberculosis patients indicated the use of 1314TH as the drug of primary choice.
2. Early cavities, regardless of the size, disappeared in four, or at the latest eight, weeks and reabsorption occurred also in four to eight weeks in pneumonitic, infiltrative and productive types, and thus, the over-all period of hospitalization in the long term patients has been remarkably shortened and their rehabi4tation has been dramatically facilitated by the primary use of 1314 TH.
3. 1314 TH also, showed an excellent result in the treatment of tuberculous meningitis patients.
